About the Colloquium

A Pan-African Forum for
Parliamentary Excellence

The Africa Colloquium of Legal Counsel to Parliaments is a premier forum for Legal Counsel serving in Parliaments across Africa.

The overall purpose is networking and sharing of information amongst Legal Counsel. The Colloquium brings under one roof Legal Counsels to African Parliaments in the spirit of Pan‑Africanism, enabling them to share legal experiences guided by the Nairobi Principles that compel them to create innovative pathways in their legal practice.

The 8th Conference, hosted by the Parliament of Ghana, focuses on addressing the unique challenges Legal Counsel face in navigating political dynamics while maintaining impartiality and professionalism.
